The Bancroft and Area Stewardship Council is pleased to announce that its annual Tree and Shrub Program for 2022 is now open for sales just in time for holiday gift giving! Visit the online store through www.bancroftstewardship.ca to find all the different species available this year. Those who purchased our first offering of Butterfly Garden Kits in 2021, will be happy to see they are back, a great opportunity to expand your garden and attract more pollinators.
Our popular bundles are also back, the Algonquin Bundle, Shoreline Bundle and Healthy Planet Bundle. Each bundle comes with 10 stems of three different species.
You can also purchase bat boxes and bluebird houses through the online store. Pick-up is by arrangement in Bancroft or at the spring tree and shrub pick-up day. We still have a few Stocked Lakes Fishing Guidebooks available but order soon for the angler on your list as once they are gone, they are gone! The guidebooks can be mailed to those who live outside the area.
We have a long winter ahead but there will be so much to look forward when the trees, shrubs and butterfly garden kits arrive just in time for spring!
