The BASC Tree and Shrub Program provides low-cost tree and shrub seedlings to landowners for a variety of planting applications, including reforestation, wildlife habitat enhancement and shoreline naturalization.
Besides a selection of species (which come in bundles of 10 stems) such as white spruce, red pine, red oak, burr oak, white birch, white cedar, red maple, silver maple, high bush cranberry and red osier dogwood, BASC is offering 3 special bundles this year.
Algonquin Bundle – includes bundles of 10 each – red osier dogwood, sweet gale, tamarack, white cedar
Healthy Plant Bundle – includes bundles of 10 each of – white cedar, red oak and chokecherry
Shoreline Bundle – includes 10 each of – red osier dogwood, high bush cranberry, pussy willow

Pick-up date is tentatively planned for Saturday, May 2 in Bancroft. All customers will be notified with a confirmed date and pick-up location at least 2 weeks prior to the date.
