BASC Tree & Shrub Program Now Taking Orders for Spring!

While we may finally be in the depths of winter, there is no time like now to start getting ready for spring planting. Once again, the Bancroft Area Stewardship Council is pleased to offer a selection of trees and shrubs that will enhance your property, protect your shoreline, and add important habitat for local wildlife.

This year, BASC is offering a Shoreline Bundle which includes 10 stems of three different species, red osier dogwood, highbush cranberry, and buttonbush.

Cortland apple trees and Saskatoon service berries are back for a second year due to popular demand!

We of course have many of your favourites available including white and red pine, white cedar, white birch, red and hard sugar maple, tamarack, butternut, white spruce, black walnut, red oak, bitternut hickory, sandbar willow, red osier dogwood and highbush cranberry.

All orders must be placed through our online store. You do not have to be a member of PayPal to order.

Blue bird boxes and bat boxes can also be ordered through our online store on the BASC website at https://bascstore.ecwid.com

The orders will arrive during the first week of May. Customers will be contacted by mid-April about the pick-up date and location in Bancroft.

Thank you for again supporting BASC’s efforts to get more trees and shrubs planted and more waterfront areas restored.
